Undergraduate Students' Perspective on Self-Directed Learning in Speaking Skill

چکیده

This study aims to describe undergraduate students' perspectives on the implementation of self-directed learning in improving speaking skills. The participants this research are 8th semester students at Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang with amount 30 students. employed descriptive method, where data gained through semi-structured interview and questionnaires. findings indicated that all agreed is an effective method used outside classroom. They also can help them achieve their goals get being more active responsible process. In addition, carrying out activities, most prefer use audio-visual media. Furthermore, suggests teachers provide a foothold about importance self-management process towards so independent objectives.
